Terms of Use

By downloading, accessing, or using Salam Time, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. Use is also subject to applicable Apple terms.

You must be legally able to accept these terms in your location. Parents and guardians should supervise use by children, particularly purchases, external content, and AI-generated material.

Subject to these terms, Salam Time grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by Apple’s rules. This license does not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property.

Use Salam Time respectfully, lawfully, and only for its intended personal purposes. You are responsible for your activity, device, and compliance with applicable law.

Salam Time does not require a Salam Time account. Personal settings and worship information are generally stored locally on your device. Keep your device and Apple Account secure.

Prayer times, Hijri dates, Qibla directions, and religious schedules are calculated estimates and may vary by location, method, device sensors, local convention, and religious authority. You are responsible for following trusted local guidance.

Salam Time is an educational and organizational tool. It is not a replacement for qualified scholars, imams, or religious authorities, and it does not provide binding fatwas. Religious content may require context, interpretation, and local guidance.

Noor uses artificial intelligence. Its output may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate. Noor is not a scholar, mufti, imam, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, or emergency service.

Verify religious information with qualified scholars or a trusted local imam. Do not rely on Noor for medical, legal, financial, safety, emergency, or other high-stakes decisions.

Salam Time does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice. Contact an appropriate qualified professional or local emergency service when those matters arise.

Quran text, translations, hadith, audio recitations, model files, and other materials may be provided by third parties. Their rights remain with their respective owners, and their availability or content may change. Please report suspected inaccuracies to support@salamtime.app.

The Salam Time name, app design, software, website, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not claim ownership of the Quran, hadith, or third-party recitations and translations. Do not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit protected Salam Time materials except where law expressly permits.

Salam Time is completely free. No essential feature is locked. Optional monthly subscriptions support ongoing development and provide only the corresponding appreciation badge:

• Supporter: $0.99/month — Supporter badge.
• Generous: $4.99/month — Generous Heart badge.
• Patron: $9.99/month — Patron badge.

Prices vary by territory and Apple displays the localized price before confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s applicable terms. Apple may charge the account within 24 hours before renewal.

Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not produce a prorated refund. Restore Purchases is available inside Salam Time. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Purchases and use are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Features, content sources, system requirements, and availability may change. Salam Time may update, suspend, remove, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, safety, legal compliance, provider changes, or product development. Availability is not guaranteed in every location or on every device.

You must not:

• Use Salam Time for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
• Interfere with the app, website, services, security, or other users.
• Attempt unauthorized access, scraping, automated abuse, or circumvention of protections.
• Misrepresent AI output as a binding religious ruling or professional advice.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

You may stop using Salam Time at any time. Salam Time may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations, security threats, legal requirements, or discontinuation. Terms that by their nature should continue—such as disclaimers, intellectual property, and limitations—survive termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Salam Time is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, fitness for a particular purpose, or absolute accuracy. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Salam Time is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use or inability to use the app, reliance on calculated or generated content, third-party services, or data loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

These Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, applicable Apple terms, and any purchase terms presented before confirmation form the agreement concerning your use of Salam Time.

These terms may be updated as Salam Time, its services, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected through an updated effective date. Continuing to use Salam Time after an update means the revised terms apply to future use where permitted by law.

Applicable law and jurisdiction will be determined according to mandatory law and the user’s location where required.
